How the daily draw works

1. The seed is sealed. Before entries open, the server generates a random seed and stores only its hash. That hash is the commitment, published on the record page from the moment entries open.
2. Entries are taken. Anyone eligible may submit one free entry: a seven-position sequence with one digit from 1 to 9 in each position. Order matters and digits may repeat. Every entry receives a unique reference.
3. Entries close. At 17:55 UTC no further entries are accepted. The set of entries is fixed from that moment.
4. The result is derived. At 18:00 UTC the seed is revealed and each of the seven positions is derived from it independently and deterministically. The same seed always produces the same sequence.
5. You can check it. Hash the revealed seed and compare it with the commitment published earlier. Matching hashes prove the values were fixed before any entry was seen.

Key facts

Format: The Daily Seven: seven positions, one digit from 1 to 9 in each. Order matters and digits may repeat, for example 4-1-7-7-2-9-3.
Odds of an exact-match sequence: 9 × 9 × 9 × 9 × 9 × 9 × 9 = 9⁷ = 4,782,969 possible sequences, so 1 in 4,782,969 per valid entry.
Winning: Every position must match the published result at the same position. There are no partial-match prizes.
If several entries match: The payout policy is being finalised and will be published before entries open.
Cost: Free. No purchase is necessary and there is nothing to buy.
Entries per person: One per record.
Reward: Published in US dollars and paid in Bitcoin at the published rate.
If nobody matches: The reward may roll over to the next record, as published on the day.
Referral bonus: Referral bonuses are not currently active. If a referral programme is introduced, its amount and complete conditions will be published before it applies.
Eligibility: Eligible locations and complete entry rules will be published before the first draw opens. Minimum age 18.
