- Is it really free?
- Yes. There is no payment of any kind, no purchase necessary, and nothing to buy. The site is funded by its operator, not by entrants.
- How do I know the result was not chosen after entries closed?
- A random seed is generated and hashed before entries open, and only the hash is published. When the result is published the seed is revealed and each of the seven positions is derived from it deterministically. Hashing the revealed seed must reproduce the published commitment.
- What are my chances?
- One in 4,782,969 for an exact-match sequence. Each of the seven positions has nine possible digits, so there are 9 to the power of 7, or 4,782,969, possible sequences.
- Can the same digit appear more than once?
- Yes. Each position is drawn independently, so a sequence such as 4-1-7-7-2-9-3 is perfectly normal and just as likely as any other.
- Does the order matter?
- Yes. The draw is an exact sequence. Your digits must match the published result position by position, in the same order.
- What if I match six of the seven positions?
- Nothing is paid. There are no partial-match prizes. Only a complete seven-position match wins.
- What happens if more than one entry matches?
- The multiple-winner payout policy is published on the rules page before entries open, and the policy in force for a record is the one published on that record.
- Can I enter more than once?
- No. One entry per person per record. Extra entries are void.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There are no public accounts and no passwords. You enter with an email address and receive a unique entry reference.
- What happens to my email address?
- It is encrypted at rest and used only to contact you about your entry, or for the newsletter if you separately opted in. You can request deletion at any time.
- Why do you ask for a Bitcoin address?
- So a reward can be paid quickly. It is optional at entry, and you may supply a verified address later if you win.
- When is the result published?
- Every evening at the published UTC time, shortly after entries close. Every result stays in the archive permanently.
- What if nobody wins?
- The reward may roll over to the next record. The amount in force is always the amount published on that record page.
- How do referral bonuses work?
- Referral bonuses are not currently active. If a referral programme is introduced, its amount and complete conditions will be published before it applies.
